CMATIC transmission
The CLAAS NEXOS features a new four-post cab with excellent all-round visibility, a flat-floor design, increased operator space and easy access through two large doors, delivering outstanding comfort throughout the working day. Designed for specialised farming, it also offers enhanced integration with mid-mounted implements, smart automation features to improve productivity and manoeuvrability in vineyards and orchards.
Gear shifting is finally consigned to the past! The NEXOS 2 features continuously variable CMATIC transmission technology which enables smooth and precise driving speeds of 0 to 40 km/h, always in the optimal engine speed range. In auto mode the CLAAS drive controller automatically adjusts the engine speed and gear ratio – saving fuel and increasing ride comfort. Two drive modes and electro-hydraulically switchable speed ranges (field and road) ensure flexible, precise speed control with an accuracy of 0.1 km/h.
